CAIPS and AOR
When you receive an AOR, the CAIPS file has information about the initial points assessment. The points assessment information will help you understand how CIC intreprets your application. You can take some remedial measures if the CAIPS notes tells you that CIC is determining your eligibility points differently. Usually, you should start supplementing your application with more documentation that will boost your chances. If you do this before the real assessments takes place, it will not only speed up your application process but will make the assessor’s job easy. It always helps to make the assessor’s job easy.
Bring forward date – This is the formal date when your file will be assessed. And the CAIPS notes will indicate when will this happen. So as you can clearly see CAIPS notes can be a very powerful arsenal in your application process.

IELTS is the only recognized test methodology accepted by CIC (Citizenship and Immigration Canada ).
The best way to provide proof of language skills is to take a language proficiency test given by an organization that is approved by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC). If you do so, you will be able to see exactly how many points you will receive for the language factor according to your test results.
You can choose not to take IELTS exam but if a visa officer determines that your english skills are not sufficient, you may get lesser points or you may be asked to take an IELTS exam to make your application feasible.
IELTS has two options for the reading and writing tests: General Training and Academic. You must take the General Training option.
