Opening a Business Account with a Canadian Bank

You will need the following documents to open a Business Checking account with a bank.

  1. Your SIN card
  2. Business Registration Number / Business Number
  3. Your Driver’s Licence
  4. Another photo Id ( could be your OHIP card, Passport or your PR Card if you are a Permanent Resident)
  5. Articles of Incorporation

You would typically get a check card, a temporary checkbook and a deposit book when you open an account.
