Public Health Insurance for new immigrants

New immigrants may not be eligible for public health insurance for up to three months after arrival. You must ensure that you and your family members have adequate health care insurance to cover possible health problems. FAilure to do so could cause serious financial difficulties if you become ill. For more information, you should contact the Ministry of Health of your province of destination.
